King Saladeen back for Topps PROJECT 2020



Topps is back working with artists to create one of a kind collaboration baseball cards. The fine art prints is a part of thier PROJECT 2020 installment program. As a part of the program they have sought artist from around the world from streetwear designers, tattoo, graffiti and artists of other mediums. Participants include Ben Baller, Don C, Grotesk, Joshua Vides, Sophia Chang, Mister Cartoon, and our homie King Saladeen amongst others.

King Saladeen is a world-renowned contemporary artist from West Philadelphia whose works are exhibited all over the world. King Saladeen is revered for creating the “Money Bear” which pays homage to his childhood friend JP. One of his largest painting installation to date is in the Philadelphia International Airport a 200 foot mural.

For his series he was able to make his hand embellished run with Ichiro Suzuki, Roberto Clemente, Derek Jeter, Willie Mays and Nolan Ryan.

Topps PROJECT 2020 Card 6 – 1989 Ken Griffey Jr. by King Saladeen

A previous edition from the series done before by King Saladeen can be seen here. Each print measures 14 by 18 inches with 100 units in the general edition outfitted with a black frame and 20 works in the AP edition with a silver frame. Additionally, one of one gold framed prints will be available for each design. All prints come with certificates of authenticity.
